Trámites migratorios.

This section is included in the page as a guide to  foreign nationals in their procedure to obtain one of the following immigration documents. It is important to remark that Secretaría de Gobernación (Ministry of the Interior) is the only branch the Mexican government in charge of reviewing and issuing the corresponding documents, and it can change the required papers and the procedures without previous notice.

The most common documents are:
 

• Entry permit.
• Change of migratory status from turist or student to visitor non-immigrant visitor (FM3).
• Yearly extension of the non-immigrant visitor visa (FM3).
• Change of migratory status from non-immigrant visitor (FM3) to immigrant (FM2).
• Yearly extension of the immigrant visa (FM2).
